The cook top is easy to clean and keep clean. The different size choices are great. The controls are easy to use and the safety hot light fixture us great. The oven size is great and heats evenly.

Originally, I would have just rated this a 3/5. The oven worked fine, but there were annoying issues with the stove. First off, the back burners are partially under the display panel, which hangs over those burners. This means you can't put a pot of soup or boiling water on the back, because it will only be partially on the back burner. It's like the designers of this stove never heard of the phrase "have something on the back burner." It would also take a while to get hot: water would boil much slower than on the electric stove we replaced.
But as of a year ago, the major problem started. The front right burner gets ridiculously hot, even when you have the dial on low. I just burned some eggs (pick below) within 2 minutes on the stove, even though the dial was on 3. The whole pan was smoking and black. I just measured the temp with an instant thermometer and it's 220F, even though it's 5 minutes after the fact. This happens 4 out of 5 times I use the burner, and I've burned plenty of food and ruined plenty of cookware. That burner is useless to me now, which is terrible since it's the primary burner and, again, you can't put a pot on any of the back burners. I'm fed up. This is a seriously flawed product with a major manufacturing defect.

I will not recommend this brand, based on my experience.
We bought this product (at Home Depot), about three years ago and just about a year after, barely after a year, the small "burner" of the dual burner went out. I got frustrated since i had another range for like 10 years and no complaints (different brand) and about 6 months ago, the outer burner went out too. Now i have to find the part and replace it. I would recommend the brand, is the first time i try it but it will be the last. I believe all products now are made to break so you buy now products.

Just replaced my 15 year old GE electric range with a new GE electric range with cooktop. I found my old range to be very reliable and easy to use. I like the simple models without a lot of extra features, although my new one has every thing a cook would need and ease of use is so enjoyable and worry free. Easy to clean too. When turning on back burner of brand new stove the burner is falling/tilting to one side (not flat up against the flat top) and a few other of the burners seem to be drooping also, just not as extreme as the back burner

i rather buy a similar electric range from SAMSUNG! this ge electric range is inferior to a samsung in that only one large burner is a super high heating element, the other large burner is a normal average heating burner. the ge electric range stovetop only fits one nine inch pot. the user on a ge range has to turn on the oven light versus the samsung, just open the oven door, the light turns on. the ge electric range timer and pre set oven temp sound indicators are way too soft and short!

Stove doesn't work. Checked Breaker box and gci switch. All other appliances work in that outlet. When you turn on burners they don't get hot. Only the clocks comes on and goes off when you turn off the burner.

I have wanted a flat top range for a long time. Since we were remodeling, it was a goal to include one. This is really nice and looks so streamlined and clean. I do like the fact that there is a light that stays on to warn you that a burner is still hot. Would definitely recommend!
