I selected this oven for my newly built home and have been very pleased with it. I am not well educated on the differences between ovens, but this one cooks well and looks very nice in an open concept kitchen/dining area/living room.

Simple and basic. Good quality. I kinda miss when the broiler was in the bottom, but, it makes more sense to have it in the upper deck.

A nice basic gas range. It is nearly the same as our old GE range that came with the house 18 years ago, and it was not new then. I cook and bake a lot and find this type of range extremely reliable. No fancy gadgets or electronic programs to fail on you. This new one does have more accurate temperature control than the old one.
I would say the thing they could have upgraded is the pan drawer. Much like the old one, it does not slide well and its plastic guides will most likely break like the old one.
I like the black color that blends pretty well with the black stainless of my other appliances.

Works well so far, we have it less than 24 hours. The warmer drawer is difficult to pull out due to the handle only being an indent not easily to grasp. Also the timer / control panel is not flat but curved and so I cannot place my salt/ pepper and timer on there. Slight inconvenience, but both issues involve reducing metal content in the stove.

Love my new Range. Came on time, works awesome. I need to re-teach myself to cook with gas. When I moved it only had electric. Had a gas line put in and now I'm cooking with gas. Woohoo.

The range is beautiful. the burners are nice and the broiler ignites immediately. There is a problem witht the oven igbiting which I have reported to the company that installed the range. They are having someone come next week to check the installation part of it and we will see what happens from there.

So far I am enjoying having a fully functional range again, I think I must re-learn how to cook again (It's been 5 years since I had a full size working oven and have been using a countertop convection oven and the microwave!) I love how quickly I can prepare meals and it no longer feels tedious. It is a pleasure to cook again! Thank you GE!

I really enjoy cooking hot meals and frozen pizzas. This oven cooks everything perfectly and with the build in timer I don™™t have to worry about burning something. I use all the features and love the self cleaning button.

I bought the gas range that is black and I like the color. The electronic display is nice and straight forward and easy to use. I am concerned about the thickness of the sheet metal, such that the side panels are flimsy and not robust. The bottom drawer is not strong at all and not self supporting when the drawer is pulled out. It is somewhat skewed and doesn't sit straight. Compared to my older 1988 GE gas model, the robustness of the stove's sides and lower draw is poor. The stove top and display are better. The oven is the same. Finally, I did not receive a user's manual and have to wonder why GE could not grace the new owner with a nice bound manual. I paid enough money to offset the cost of a manual and have formed the opinion that the company is cutting unnecessary corners.
